The short film is based on a comic I did a while ago titled “A trumpet and a feather” and I was pushed to turn in into a cinematic experience thanks to Elizabeth MacKenzie’s energy and motivation.

Even though I’ve played with filmmaking for two decades this was one of my first times taking a stab at working with actors and telling a narrative fictional story. Additionally to the live action scenes, I created a whole segment in VR using Tiltbrush. Bringing each scene to life was an exhilarating process because I had to learn how to use the technology as I went, but as my usual, I enjoyed being challenged by once another experiment in how to tell a story in a new way.
